Today, luckily, my lawyer was able to attain a wet and reckless charge for my incident. My ? is what difference will this make in my fines/punishments? The lawyer insinuated that the dmv is still requiring a 15 week class and not accepting just the 12 hour wet and reckless class for my county. What are the fines in CA? What about jail time and/or community service? With a dui most get 4 days community service here with time spent in jail counted towards it. Will I still have to do some community service as well?
