will a lawyer help for second dui chargeWhat is the name of your state? KY I am not paying for this- but since it is my son and I still care about him, I still have an interest. He is not learning lessons from his partying. Will the below situation be helped by a lawyer 1. He is in jail right now(just got arrested) but might be released until a court date in KY 2. It is his second dui in two years. First one was the "kiddie law "one- I think he was like .021 3. This one was significantly higher and he is 21 now- Can't remember what they told me- but it was high(almost 3x over) .27? 4. He has two other prior misdemenor arrests for pot He does go to college. I am wondering if he gets a lawyer if it will even do any good- since he appears to be such a loser. |

| You may want to see if it's a criminal violation or not though before he plans on shelling out the dough and find out if that's truly a 2nd OWI violation or not. Many times, an underage "Absolute Sobriety" or what-have-you isn't counted as a first. But, a lawyer can never hurt. |

My response: Where's the trailer in this story? You say he "goes" to college? I don't think so. Rather, he "floats" to college on that cloud of purple haze. IAAL |

You may want to see if it is a criminal violation or not? Your post makes no sense what-so-ever.

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be. | If you have a tooth ache, where would you go? The dentist! If you have a problem with the law, where would you go? To an attorney. Consult one, your son is going to need it. |
