Question

would a lawler help at reinstatement hearing

What is the name of your state? illinois
i've been told that the sec. of state could possibly deny reinstatement up to three times which would add 6 mos. to my already 3 yr. sentence! the hearing officer says an attorney is not necessary. would an attorney help to expedite this process? the hearing is set for 4-18-05. any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
