Display of an American flag w/ a PeaceSign in place of stars in a public school

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Mexico

Hello. I have a question regarding display of a flag in a public school that my daughter attends.
The flag in question is an American flag with the stars replaced by a white Peace sign on a blue background. They are available online at varying sites commerically.
I know that in a private residence or property it is not a problem. However this flag hangs in a teachers cubicle on public school grounds. Placed so that it is apparent thru the window of the school to anyone passing by as well as all students.

I would appreciate any information regarding this subject as applicable to my state (NM).
thank you

unless the school has a problem with it, I see nothing wrong with allowing the teacher to exercise their 1st amendment rights.

Public school is all about learning about our rights and responsibilities and diversity and tolerance and all that great USA stuff.
