What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
Me and my daughter's mother are separated. There are no legal custody arrangements only verbal agreement on our days. Her mother registered her to begin school at Bridgeport Elementary which is 45 minutes away from my house on the days I have her. I was uninformed until after she was registered. She is only 3, birthday in February, which means she'll be attending 2 years of preschool. She does not have a learning disorder, a speech impediment, trouble with other kids, and I would much rather wait one more year before starting her in school because she is diabetic and the fact she does not even slightly know how to use her insulin pump concerns me. My question is, do I have to send her because she is already registered and if she is required to attend school can I simply transfer her school's to one closer to home?
