Educational guardianship

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri
Does anyone know how this works? From what I have heard if I can prove that my son is not getting the education he needs (speical services) from his current school that I can sign over educational guadianship to someone the a better district and we won't have to move or pay tuition. Is this true?

I can't find anything in the Missouri School Laws that suggests this could be true. You can search it yourself here:

The law does say that if special ed services are not delivered as required, the state department of ed will investigate. You may want to start with the dept of ed if your son is not getting the services that he is entitled to receive according to his IEP, and you have already exhausted all avenues within the school and the district.
