What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA
If you are aware that someone has committed fraud by claiming children live with them that do not to receive PELL grants, what steps do you take, and what is the realistic outcome?
The person committing the fraud has probably been doing this for 2 years at a junior college. They are going to graduate in the spring. The only proof that the children do not live with the grant recipient are federal, state & local tax returns belonging to the mothers, claiming the children as dependents, and a custody complaint filed by the person receiving the PELL grants stating that the children have lived with & been in the physical custody of the mothers since birth.
