I was wondering if I could represent myself in court and what type of evidence will I need to prove my case. I would like my tuition reimbursed. I already tried the grievance department at the school and even met the dean The dean told me that those tracks were optional and they never switched my track. In Dec, 2007, Rutgers school of social work ( MSW graduate level) switched me from from direct to non profit and administration and gave me no choice but to withdraw. I did not have a year to waste and had to find a job to support myself.This track is a research based track that involves administrative experience. I would like to mention that this track is an option and was meant for the students to choose. The school claims that they did this to prevent me from failing. I also got a C in research methodology and do not know how the school expects me to do the research part of my job duties. The school did this because I was asked to leave my high school internship. The field instructor over there made unrealistic expectations such as memorizing all the kids name in the program( more than 100) and used algebra progress reports to talk down to me during supervision. I would also like to add that I am not in the adolescent coursework. When field liason came from Rutgers, I got yelled at him for saying the name of the program wrong. Seabreeze instead of Breezeway. When I tried to tell the field director my side of the story, she kept shouting research The dean did not allow me to appeal my situation. I received an INC and NG in two classes that I was suppose to fail. I don't understand what makes the school think that I am not cut for the field. I am not in the adolescent track nor recieved proper supervision. What do I have to do if I want to represent my self in court. I can not afford a lawyer.
