Sexual harassment in school?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? florida
I attend a private university.Recently a teacher has begun to talk very explicitly about her sex life, sexual encounters. She has had these conversations with a third party, but in front of a group of students. She has also told a couple of the students personal information about her sex life, again with other students around and able to hear what is being said. She has also single out one particular student, and given her lower grades than anyone else in the class, and has taken a particular interest in watching her closely. My question is if this is a form of sexual harassement?
A group of students went to the administration and complained, their response was that they would talk to her, and that she would continue to be our professor. Is this appropriate? Is there anything that protects the students from being subject to having her as their professor again?

Thank you

No. If she stops with the offending behavior, the law is not going to force the school to fire her or to put you in different classes.
