What is the name of your state? ohio my son transferd from catholic to public school how can i get his transcripts. we still owe some tuition to the school are they required by law to release his a copy of his transcrpts so he can attend school!!

*** Hard to believe, but the transcripts are the property of the school and not the student. As such, there is no requirement for their release..... and they are within their rights to withhold them until your outstanding balance is paid.
