Hope this is posted in right area. My father is in a nursing home in NJ. He had one leg amputated and recently had an accident. No one had emtied out his urinal so in the middle of the night when he needed to go he rang for help and no one came. Being the independent type he got up and into his chair but when he was going back to bed his foot slipped out from under him and he went face first into his nighttable. His roomate rang for help for 10 minutes (something that neither has ever done before) and then got himself into his chair and wheeled himself to the nurses station only to here "was theat you ringing?" My father needed several stiches by his eye had lots of bruising and ripped open the recent stiches on his stump leg. They did treat him well after someone finally arrived to help and have since given him extra urinals and reachers but I still feel that they were negligent. He does not feel he a case. Does he???
Thanks so muchWhat is the name of your state?
