What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana
I have a very frustrating situation. First of all, my dad lived with my grandmother, while his wife is cared for by my sister and I. My grandmother has passed and my dad has to move. He is an old stubborn man and the only place he is willing to live is a run down old farm house that I moved the family out of in 1994. The place hasn't been touched. My sister and I want to move him with her, or myself it's about 3 hours north. My other brother is encouraging him to move into the old farm house. It has limited water supply, shotty electricity, black mold growing on the walls, and a wood burning stove for heat (my father's on oxygen all the time) Which I am not even sure the heat stove works after sitting empty for 15 years. The reason my brother wants him to move in there is, my brother mooches all of my dads money. As an example my brother put a mobile home on the property of this paticular house. The phone bill is still in my dads name and he still pays it. Along with the electricity and gas bills. I am the only one of my siblings who are financially responsible. My sister's house is the only one that has a shower on one level otherwise they wouldn't live there. But I have to go and clean her house weekly, to keep my mom from getting sick. Can I use what my brother is trying to do as explitation? In order to get a judge to grant my guardian or something? If not does anyone know what to do time is running out. We have til the end of September to get him moved.
