Kentucky. My stepfather of 30 years recently died.My mother was his second wife.He had no children with either wife, only stepchildren. The deed to their home is still in his and his first wife names. In 1985 my stepdad made a living will with a lawyer named Dan Goodman in Georgetown, Ky. This will states that the home is hers her lifetime. She's 84.When she dies then the home will be sold and devided.Since my step dads death we have been informed that Dan Goodman (the lawyer)has died and know one knows where his records are.He had the original will.Mom has a copy. The lawyer that has been trying to help her with everything says she needs the original. We are afraid my step dads family will force her to sell her home. What can we do?

It is possible in some very limited instances to prove the contents of a lost will.

You need a very good lawyer well-versed in this area to help you.
