What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? california

My dads caregiver/partner had medical poa. Does that extend beyond his death. Will my siblings(executors) and I be able to obtain copies of his medical records for a civil suit? She managed to get him to put her name on his banking accounts in 2005, to pay his medical bills. In his last years he was very confused and we need medical records to show the courts.

No.

Once probate court issues Letters of Administration/Testamentary, yes, y'all will be able to obtain medical records.
