POA vs Trust & Co-Trustee

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington

Help... We just discovered our son (an attorney) became a co-trustee with his grandmother which grants him amazing powers over her estate etc.

His grandmother's daughter has a financial POA with her brokerage firm.

Can grandson as a co-trustee of her trust trump the daughters financial POA?

He's after the money.... It's about power and control...

Thanks! What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Usually when posters mention an "estate", they mean that someone has passed away. Is grandmother still alive?

"His grandmother's daughter has a financial POA with her brokerage firm" is unclear. Does daughter have a general POA? Or is the POA limited to a brokerage account? Is the brokerage account titled in the name of the trust?

If a general POA, does the document address the agent's powers with regard to the trust?

What sort of trust is it - revocable, irrevocable?
