What is the name of your state? IL

My sister is POA for my mother who is 84 and of sound mind. My sister blabs all my mothers financial affairs to her sons, daughters in laws and anyone else in her family. Isn't this taking it a bit too far? I thought a POA was representing the person, not using the POA to blab mom's financial matters to family members and others.

Am I wrong?

Tacky, but not illegal.

It's your mother's business. Why not have a tactful conversation with mom letting her know and let her handle it.
