At 13 can my son say who he wants to live with?

If i have papers from a mediation between my X and myself are they valid? Can it matter if my son and I live in a new 2000 model camper or a house? My son is 13 can he decide where he wants to live and who with? My son has an A & A/B grade average so. Can you please Help answer these questions? Thanks Paul

Your son is old enough to decide were he wants to live. Unless your the mother can prove beyond a doubt that you are an unfit parent, his preference will be taken into consideration. Most courts will honor what the child wants. I just went through this myself. If you live in the same area, why not try a week with you and a week with her. I would think that your son is old enough to make the adjustment.

If you live in PA, there is no age limit. The child does not have any say as to where he/she wants to live until they are 18. A judge decides. I've already been thru this.
