About a joint car

I am with some one now that bought a car with his ex and now she is calling and telling him that he is going to sue him for half the car and get his wages garnished for it. she has not made one payment and the only thing that she has is her name on the papers. i want to know if there is any thing she can do and if she has a right to any money.. she is making these threats and i want to be prepared.. please could someone let me know about this..
I am from washington state and could really use the know on this..
