Father of my 3 year old daughter is going to prison for flagrent non-support. We live in Kentucky. Will the state pay me my child support and he pay it back to the state when he gets out? Or am I without child support for the next two years?????????

My response:

All you have to do is apply for Public Assistance; e.g., Welfare, Food Stamps, Medicare, Aid to Families with Dependent Children, etc.

When he gets out, he'll have quite an "arrearage" to pay back to the State, including interest, as a result of his recalitrance.

Good luck.
