| My daughter remarried last year and wants to have her child, age 7 adopted to her new husband. The biological father signed off any parental rights before the child was born and the child's birth certificate is registered without a father and in the mother's maiden name. All she needs is a simple adoption form to take to court. What is it called and where can we get one? Are they available on the web? She lives in Idaho. [Edited by dhurst on 11-17-2000 at 05:37 PM] |

Without your State name, or the name of the State where the problem happened, it would be difficult to assist you. Laws are different everywhere. IAAL |
