Our divorce was final July 1999. We have a house and almost 8 acres. In our agreement he was to get all but 1 acre and the house. I have since changed my mind. Is there a time limit were I can leaglly change the agreement? And if I don't sign the quit claim what can he do to me? I live in Ohio and have been disabled for 5yrs. The property is also in Ohio. I didn't have an attorney he did. Also I was to take parenting class but didn't because I had changed my mind about the divorce so I asked my husband what would happen if I didn't take the class. He said we wouldn't be divorced but a month or so latter I received my divorce decree in the mail. What should I do?

It sounds like you were taken advantage of. Do you know if you qualify for legal assistance? I believe there are sources for legal assistance to those with disabilities. Try looking up your local Rights of Persons with disablities. There might be a web site. Good luck!!
