Annulment

If anybody can give me some advice or point me in the right direction, I will greatly appreciate it.
My husband and I were married in July of 1996, he hid the fact that he wasn't an illegal. At the time, we had a one year old child and was together 3 years prior to getting married. He hid this fact from me the whole time I had known him. The next month after we were married, he was deported leaving me to raise our child by myself. I haven't heard from him since (4 years). I have full cutody of our son (this was done before we were married). I want to know if I can get an annulment on the grounds that he gave false information or the fact that we were living under the same roof as husband and wife for a month? If I can, would I need his cooperation because he is in another country and I don't know how to find him.
If anybody can give me advice on this matter, I would appreciate it. I don't want child support, I just want to be free of him any get on with my life and have the option to marry someone else in the future if I choose to do so.

It all depends on your state laws. You may be able to get an anulment based on the fact of desertion that is unless you live in California. Good Luck because the court systems don't help you our any.
