Question

OK, now my question is... under what grounds will a judge in GA see as reasonable to go UNDER the guidelines?
The CSE office has asked for an increase of cs. An objection was filed, but I don't know why yet, so I was hoping to get an idea of what would be considered. BTW... the dad has no other children.
THANKS!

Cool

"Georgia has child support guidelines based upon the income of the non-custodial parent. There is a range of percentages, depending on the number of children, and computed on the gross income from all sources. The range for one child is 17-23 % of the gross income of the non-custodial parent paid to the custodial parent. The range for two children is 23-28%; for three children is 25-32%; for four children is 29-35%; and for five or more children is 31-37%. However, many factors can cause the actual amount to fluctuate and even deviate from the guidelines. Some of these are the ages of the children, day care costs, education costs, debt structure of the parties, the income of the custodial parent, children from other marriages or relationships, etc. Child support obligations are the same whether the support obligation arrises out of a divorce or a paternity action. "

The site I got this off of has been knownto reduce matters though. I'll let you know if I find anything else.
