arrearages and welfare

Found out DH has an 8 yo. he didn't know about from a one-nighter, also just found out biomom is on ALL forms f public assis. in Indiana, I know we will have to pay arrearges from the date she filed paternity papers, will we be made to pay welfare arrearges in addition? Also, the girl will be here the whole summer, will we be made to pay all of the suport for te time she's here? DH doesn't even go back to court until Sept., should we pay biomom anything(for school clothes, etc) before we have to?????? TIA, Jessica/CA
