Has anyone had either a good or bad experience with a family law attorney in Ventura County, CA that they would like to share? I am about to go into battle over not being allowed by BM to see my son. Not sure where to start in finding a good lawyer.

I believe Legal Beagle had the best idea I have ever heard of to assist in choosing a Attorney. He suggested going to the Family Court and sitting through the hearings for a day or two. Watch their styles and if you see one that you like, ask for a business card.
Other then that you may want to check with your State Bar Assn. and also, use the free consultations to scope them out..
