Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that my doc has ordered bedrest, because my contractions are pretty consistent, although they aren't intense. He monitored me for an hour today, during which the closest contractions were 15 minutes apart. The C-section is scheduled for Tuesday, 11/14, so long as I don't go into real labor before then. I wanted to thank everyone who was planning on being at my cyber shower, and Tig for setting up the site for it, but now there's a slight monkey wrench thrown into the works. I am up in my bedroom to collect some necessities because I cannot even walk up the steps at all after tonight, until a few weeks after the C-section. I will ask one of my friends or family to post a message to the board after I have the baby to let everyone know we're ok.

All my love to my family here...

My dear Jenifa:

I took a break from the Clinton, er, Gore presidential race just to wish you my best.

Have you settled on a name for baby yet?

We'll be looking forward to your return, and baby's "introduction" to all of us.

Thinking of you kidlet,

IAAL

Jenifa,

I've got a few suggestions for names... But don't bother reading this, Sit! Lay! Stay! Rest!

Everyone, the shower is still on, but we are looking at least 3 weeks after baby arrives. I've made the club unlisted now, so feel free to post whatever, no one can see but members of the club.

Jenifa,
I'm fairly new to this board,so I may not know you as well as others, but I would still like to wish you the best of luck, and assure you that you are in our prayers. I have a new baby also, and I had quite a struggle getting him here, but we all know it's well worth it. All your worries will be over very shortly, and you'll finally meet that precious little one! Take it easy for now :-)
