| My boyfriend is planning on divorcing his wife(she lives in New Mexico, he lives in Texas) but he's also thinking about filing bankruptcy. She is currently living in his house, behind on mortgage payments and they are threating on foreclosure. He also is paying back child support. How will bankruptcy affect the divorce, foreclosure, and the back child support he owes? |

| I'm pretty sure child support cannot be written off in bk. He will be liable for the child support regardless. BK will affect the house tho. Good luck! |
