Angry

I was engaged to be married and discovered that my fiance was lying to me about several things including finances. Most of the bills were in my name and we were jointly taking responsibility for ensuring that all household expenses were paid while we were supposed to be creating joint utility accounts. When I found out how much he was lying to me and that he was putting my credit rating at risk I confronted him. I broke off the engagement. He became angry and moved out of our apartment without notice (we are both on the lease) leaving me with all of the bills and the rent to cover on my own. What are my options? Can I sell my engagement ring to cover some of the bills? He is still on the lease (9 months to go) until I release him which I don't intend to do until I can find a roommate. What a mess. Please advise what I should do. Thanks.
