Me again! My b/f has a storage he has had for 4 years, he's been married for 2 years & her stuff (he has filed for divorce & she has been served) and her stuff is in storage, he has asked her a couple of times to remove her stuff from storage. And she has not. What can he legally do? Can he remove her stuff & set it by the dumpster when he empties his stuff from it? What can he do? Thank you!

First, write her a letter.. have it certified so you have the signiture of her recieving it. Inform her that she needs to arrange to have the items cleared by x date or on x date they will be moved out of storage and placed next to the local dumpster. If she ignores that, then he can either follow through with the dumping or for total peace, place the items on the truck and dump them on her lawn.

Does he have to give her a certain number of days to get her stuff out? 3 days? 1 week? 2 weeks? etc? Thanks!
