| I am still attending college. When I graduate I will have a career in the medical field. My boyfriend plans on doing business. My question is: if we get married and it doesn't work out, I don't want to be taken advantage of (I am much better with money and have less debt and bills than he)-- I've heard that if you get married in Las Vegas the divorce laws are different than california. Do you think I would be better off, if we got married in Las Vegas than California? Please explain the differences between the 2 states' laws... |

| My first marriage, we were wed in nevada but lived in california, divorced in California and had to go by calfornia law. It doesnt really matter I dont think were you get married but were you are going to live and the state that you would get a divorce in....if you question the relationship maybe you should wait a little longer divorce sucks!! Good luck! Sorry if I didnt really help! |
