| Can I be held accountable for my estranged husband's tax penalities? I am still legally married to him, although we have not been together for over three years. I left him after six months of marriage and never used his last name. I have never filed taxes with him and never purchased anything with him during the short marriage. I am concerned because the IRS is pursuing him for back taxes for unreported self-employment income. Can the IRS comeback on me??? Thanks, Carla 1 |
