child custody

My 16 year old stepson came to live with us 2 weeks ago. He no longer wants to live with bio mom and stepfather. ( There are drugs and domestic problems)My husband went to court and filed temp. orders for physical custody. Has not been heardby a judge yet. Ex wifewent to court with her son and filed a modification stating that son no lo nger wanted to live with her and was living with us. she now has filed a CHINS(CHILD IN NEED OF SERVICES)He has never been in any kind of trouble. Now she has filed a missing persons report on him! We live in Mass. Can he decide where he wants live? He wants to live with us and has made it very to clear to the police and my Attny.where he wants to stay. Also, her daughter moved out when she was 17

If you already have an attorney for this matter, I'm not sure why you are writing to this Board. Is it, perhaps, you would like a clarification of something that your attorney has said to you? Tell us what your attorney has said to you.
