Seventeen months ago we agreed that I would keep our child after the divorce until my ex-wife got a day job, then split custody in her favor. She recently found that job and now wants the agreement enforced. In the past year and a half my child has been doing very well in all aspects of his life, has lived in the same house and neighborhood that he was born in, and goes to the same school. I believe it is his best interests to remain with me, and continue the visitation as in the past. Am I obligated by contract law to turn over my child.
