| Non-custodial parent started paying child support, then he stopped because he quit his job. His new wife payed child support for an entire year while he was out of work, not missing a day. Now he is out of work again, but he and she aren't getting along, so she isn't paying child support for him to keep him out of the court system. Meanwhile, our children are doing without some of the things children should have. Shouldn't she help him make his child support payments instead of making things harder on me and the children. (Her income is well over $60,000 a year!) |

| Not if there weren't any legal papers saying she HAD to pay support for children that weren't hers. The spouse has no obligation to pay anything. It would be a nice thing to do, and it sounds like she's trying to gert back at your ex through his children. |

![]() Just because she makes that much money doesnt mean that your entitled to it! The fact that she made a decison to help you out once doesn't mean that she has to do it again? She does not have any obligation to you or your kids. Your ex husband is responsible for child support not her! take the necessary measures to make sure that HE pays what is owed, and don't just assume that just because she's working and has a good job that your entitled to her money! she owes you nothing! |
