My step-son, is currently living with grandparents, as his mother has been found temporarily unable to care for him. The grandparents are seeking full custody of the child. We are unable to obtain an attorney due to $$$. The child has been living with the grandparents since 5/00.
His child support is being taking out of his check, and this amount includes a small portion of which goes to back child support. He was served with papers which are titled "Reduction of Child Support by Judgement". What does this mean??
I read the document, and it refers to back child support. It also states that the child still lives with his mother, which he does not, and that the mother still lives in Texas, which she does not.
Thanks for your help!!! |
