child support has taken everything --HELP!!!!

Hello,
My friend has fallen on hard times and cannot pay as much money as child support is taking, without his knowledge or consent by the way. Is he allowed any contact with the mother or his child? Can they continue to take all his money even though he doesn't even know where she is, if she has been truthful with the government or if the child is even seeing any of the money? Does the father even any rights when pushed to filing for bankruptcy??

from our present experience and from what we have been told, where we live if a man is not a criminal and has been proven biologically the father you can go file for visitation rights. also, support and visitaiton are two seperate issues in the eyesof the court. you could try calling the support agency and maybe re evaluating you income, maybe that would lower the ammount/
