I wanted to know I am starting up a business and my husband will be working for me . The business is mine . If his x-wife decides to take him to court for and increase will my business and income play apart in it. Can she use my income and my business income to get an increase. I want to be careful about this . What do I need to do to protect my assets because I have children too.

i am little confused . My company is not big enough to incorporate right now . Why should my income and business income be looked at at all concerning his child support . If that is the case then why isn't her live in boyfriend income accounted for . I have no money obligations to these children . We live in Georgia . I stress that the business is in my name and he is working for me. We will have a written contract on his salary .Do you think the judge is going to look at mine because we are married ? Everything is in my name . So i do not understand how the judge could ask for my books concerning my business and income . I thought child support was decided on the two parents not step parents . I have children of my own to support. Help ! because i am very confused on what I should do !!!
