Question
We live in AL. and here a child is considered an adult at age 19. Well My step-daughter has turned 19 in Aug. My husband would like to know how he can get the garnishments stop.

My response:

File a Motion to Terminate Child Support in the Family Law court nearest to the residence of the child. You need Court Orders to stop the garnishment.
