I WANT MY BABY BACK

Question

I have wanted my 2 boys to come live with me, but they are living with their rich, step-grandfather (whom I do not get along with). Recently the Grandad kicked out my 16 yr old. How old does he have to be in the State of New Mexico to choose where and with whom he wants to live AND did the Grandfather give up his rights when he kicked out my son???? I really need to know soon so I can act on it. Please, my life has never been the same without my boys here.

You are going to have to give us more info in order for anyone to help you. Does this Grandfather have legal custody of the boys? Have your parental rights been terminated? Where is this child living now since the GrandDad kicked him out?

Unhappy

Thank you for replying, My ex-husband, his Mother and his step-father all combined have custody of my children. It was a huge fight but I could not compete with the money they had. My life was destroyed when my children were taken. It has been 13 years. At first my boys were living with all 3 under the same roof until my ex remarried and then the boys lived with him. (which was great because we have a great relationship. Then when the ex divorced the Step-Grandfather took the kids from him one day and they have been living with him since. The grandmother works out of town so she is never home, for that matter the step-grandfather is hardly around either. Recently my youngest son (16) was caught with alcohol and the step-grandfather kicked him out of the house and now from what I understand he is living with his dad and new girlfriend. The worst part is the ex is an alcoholic and my son needs special attention to his schooling because he is failing miserably. Please help me help him. P.S. they all live in New Mexico and I live in Texas. I have no custody.
