My guy and I have lived as man and wife for six years. I use his name as mine on everything except my Social Security, which has to be changed with a marriage license. Question...

If (HEAVEN FORBID) something should happen to him, and we are not married, must I move out and give everything that we own to his only daughter? She is 14. If he (HEAVEN FORBID) passed on, does everything belong to his only biological child? And also, would I be entitled to survivor's benefits as his wife according to Social Security Administration?
