I have a pending trial. The original trial date was back in May. But it got continued to June. Then it got continued to August. Now it's continued 'til September. My question is...is there a limit to how many times a trial can be continued? I live in CA

Do you have an attorney ?? who is continuing the trial ? the other attorney ?, the judge ??

We both have attorneys. The first time, my attorney continued it because I had a conflict that I couldn't get out of. The second time her attorney continued it because it was set right before her wedding. The third time we were waiting for a document from them, a proposed judgement, which we needed to review before trial, but they didn't send it until the day before the trial so, again it had to be continued. Can it keep getting continued? I live in CA by the way. Thanks

If you feel you are all ready, then get your attorney to ask the judge to force the trial date and not allow any further delays.
