I hope that you still have the support payment(s) that you tried to pay with some markings verifying that they were sent back to you. If not, you will probably be left owing the 30,000.

If you do, (if you don't), seek a good attorney immediately. Good luck to you. Your good intentions come in a decade with no tolerence for those that do not pay child support... sadly even those with excellent reasons.
