(Alabama)My daughter, 21, has is the custodial parent of an 11 month old. The non-custodial parent has not paid any support for the child in over 6 months. There is no court orders or legal agreements between them. My daughter went to DHR and DHR has initiated court action to establish child support and to obtain back child support. During this court date, can the non-custodial parent request any type of visitation?

If there are no court orders he does not owe any child support, nor does he have visitation rights.

She needs to get custody sorted out before any visitation is allowed. Sometimes that is established by the DHR court action, sometimes it is not so she needs to check.
