| my mother in law is getting a divorce , during her marriage, her husband used her credit to pay overdue property taxes on the property they lived in for almost five years. During their marriage he also used her credit to purchase the adjoining land (14 acres) to their property. Shortly after this purchase, he told her to "Get Out!" I would like to know her legal rights to this property. She is beside herself due to his abuse and infidelity. Please inform me of her chances of either getting some of the land or ??? Thanks, TrazyG PS. we live in Arkansas |

| Yes, she has rights to it.. should be 50% since it was brought during the marriage. I suggest she gets an attorney asap ! ------------------ Psst... I do not work for Macdonald’s or Burger King, and even if I did, I would not tell you. For sloppy bread, tired tomatoes, frozen onions, watered down mayonnaise and imitation meat, please find a drive through window with a person who openly admits they make that stuff. My advice above is equal to the advice they would give if you asked that person a legal question. |
