My husband and I live in Texas. We lived in Tarrant county from 7/97 to 5/00, at which time we separated. I moved into my college dormitory in 5/00, and lived there for
2 1/2 months. I then graduated and moved to Denton county on 8/1/00. My question is where do I file for divorce? The divorce papers make a statement concerning my county of residence for the preceeding 90 days and I haven't been the resident of any one county for the preceeding 90 days. I'm trying to do this without a lawyer because I can't afford one and my husband won't assist with divorce fees.
