I seperated from my husband almost 4 years ago we left on good terms he told me he would be touch with an address so I could send divorce papers Its been since Oct 1997 since I seen or heard form him I get mail for him I tryed all our friends and no one knows where he is I asked the post office if he was registered to receive mail here he said that there was a change of address to this address for us BOTH He is not here I am not rich and I want to move on with my life Its like he disappeared what is the most easiest way to figure out freedom and inexpensive!!!!!!!

I understand the delima. In most states all you have to do is post a legal notice in the paper with the court date for the divorce hearing. My father did this in the state of PA and was divorced within 2 days of the court hearing. We could not find my mom and he wanted to move on. Talk to the legal advisor at your local court house, they should be able to help.
