| My wife and I have gone to counseling for 5 months and are not able to save our marriage. It is my wish to get a divorce, which she would not fight. We would both like to move through this as quick as possible. In NY, is there a mandatory waiting period? There are no kids or property involved. Are there any penalties for divorcing under the grounds of adultery? |

| Why dont you try going to www.freeadvice.com and look up the laws regarding divorce. Or go to www.askjeeves.com and type in your question? I sent you the information I found on the site which wasnt easy I must say as they dont list a titled statute, just #'s. |
