Question
I live in CT; the spouse I haven't seen for many years is living in MA. During those years I became disabled and would like to obtain financial help from my husband instead of requesting help from CT. I have no idea where to start. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance!

Do you have any children together? If you are are you receiving child support? If you don't have any children between you, how long have you been seprated? if its longer than 18 months that considered legally seprated. and you should call ssi to cover your disability. I dont thing he has to support you if your not legally living together.
