do either of us have to pay support?

Hello to all, this is my first posting, I have been married for 12 years and me and my husband have three girls together, I recently decided that this was it, and we are separating and soon to divorce!! My husband is a great father and I could never take the children away from him and yet I did not want them away from me, so I did some research and found that we could have shared physical custody, since he has to work during the day, I will take care of the children untill 6.00pm every night, and he will take over till morning, monday through friday!! they will be living in the duplex we rented together, and because he can support the home I have decided to move in with my sister, so that life for them would not change to much and they would stay in their school, I did not want this at the beginning, but I know it is best for the children!! He needs them too!! He is going through a tough time with the whole thing and this has relieved some of his stress and mine!! anyway my question is if I file for divorce in Rhode Island, will either one of us have to pay support since I am taking on the care all day and him at night, also we decided to share expenses for the children when need I will help with cloth and so on. Also I wondered if those do it yourself divorces online paper work is a good idea, since we will agree on everything!! thank you for any help you can give to me... this has been a very stressful time in both our lives and I want to make this process as easy as I can for him and my children!
