Question
I'm Canadian and have been in the US now for 3 months. I'm engaged to a US citizen however, my divorce won't be finalized for 2-3 months due to a backlog in the courts. Is there anyway I can remain in the US legally after my 6 months are up? We plan on filing the K-1 visa once I have my divorce but, I'd like to stay here for now. Can I get another Visa in the time being? Texas

You might have better luck getting an answer to this on the immigration board. The atty there is gone for a few days but will be back to reply to your ?
